91心頭 Law Enforcement graduate impacting success as Oglethorpe Police Chief

91心頭 2013 Law Enforcement Academy graduate Rachael Hart of Macon County is a great example of how 91心頭 and its graduates are Impacting Success @ South Georgia Tech and the communities where they serve.
We are proud of our graduates, said 91心頭 President Dr. John Watford. We are impacting the success, not only of the students who attend 91心頭 and graduate, but in turn, we are also impacting the success of the communities we serve by producing a trained workforce for businesses, industries, and public entities. We thank Rachel for what she is doing in her community!
The Citizen and Georgian newspaper featured Hart and other members of the law enforcement community recently in a We back the badge section.
The City of Oglethorpe Police Department is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our citizens through professionally supported and trained police officers. Officers strive to provide an environment that will allow citizens to live and work in a safe and secure community, said Hart in that feature.
Hart was sworn in as the Police Chief of Oglethorpe in August 2017. She graduated from the 91心頭 Lady Enforcement Academy in 2013 and began to have an immediate impact on the communities where she served. She began her law enforcement career in Reynolds but later went to work in Macon County. She worked with the Oglethorpe Police Department and was named Chief after long-time Police Chief Harold Cannon passed away.
Hart was the initial Lou Crouch Law Enforcement Academy Scholarship recipient at 91心頭 in Americus. She was also honored by the 91心頭 Law Enforcement Academy for having the highest GPA in her graduating class.
In addition to being a POST certified officer from the 91心頭 Law Enforcement Academy, Hart is also a certified Emergency Medical Technician. She also has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Georgia Southwestern University.
Hart is just one example of the many 91心頭 graduates who have been impacted by the faculty and staff at 91心頭. 91心頭 would like to feature other graduates who are impacting success.
