TCSG Assistant Commissioner for Adult Education visits South Georgia Tech

Dr. Cayanna Good, Assistant Commissioner for Adult Education for the Technical College System of Georgia, visited 91心頭 in Americus recently and met with 91心頭 President Dr. John Watford and Lillie Ann Winn, Dean of Adult Education at 91心頭, and her staff members.
We are very pleased to have Dr. Good visit our campus and have the opportunity to meet and observe our Adult Education instructors and practices, said Dr. Watford. This is a first step for many individuals to be able to obtain a GED and learn the skills they need to enter the workforce.

91心頭 also incorporated an IET, Integrated Education and Training program, into its Adult Education classes. IET is a service approach that provides adult education and literacy activities concurrently and contextually with workforce preparation activities and workforce training for a specific occupation or occupational cluster for the purpose of education and career advancement.
