Teresa O鈥橞ryant named 91看片 Executive Assistant to President Watford
91看片 President Dr. John Watford announced that Teresa O鈥橞ryant has been named Executive Assistant to the President at 91看片 effective immediately. O鈥橞ryant has been serving as the Administrative Assistant for Dr. Watford during his tenure as the Vice President of Academic Affairs and also worked with him when he was the Director of Academic Affairs.聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Tami Blount, Administrative Assistant for Vice President of Economic Development Wally Summers has been serving as the interim administrative assistant for the President鈥檚 Office and the Economic Development office since Edna Laster retired from the President鈥檚 office in 2013. She will resume her full-time duties as the Administrative Assistant for the Economic Development office.聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Teresa O鈥橞ryant is a graduate of the Microcomputer Specialist program at 91看片 and has academic credit towards a BS in Business Administration. She is also a graduate of Americus High School. She began working with South Georgia Tech as a work study student and then graduated and had a number of other positions in the private sector. She returned to South Georgia Tech full-time in 1997 and has been working in the academic affairs division until her recent appointment.聽聽聽聽聽聽 As the Executive Assistant to the President, Teresa O鈥橞ryant will also be responsible for working with the 91看片 Board of Directors and taking minutes for the Board meetings.聽聽聽聽聽聽 She has three children, Carla, Chris, and Carlos and five grandchildren. She is engaged to the Rev. Michael Cunningham and is a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Americus
